Biography

Teresa Roca holds a multidisciplinary PhD in Occupational Psychology, Policy and Education, from Loughborough University. At present, a Senior Lecturer in Organisation and Human Resources Management, Director of Placements and Employability at Northumbria University, UK, and Guest Professor for Hochschule Kaiserslautern, Germany with an extensive international profile in teaching and training. Current research interests include occupational well-being, organisational behaviour, personnel development, career development, values and accountability systems, educational policy, leadership, decision-making, organisational culture and change, research methods and digital era design, development and human resources management issues.

A Chartered Occupational Psychologist background with extensive International business experience as a Consultant, Psychologist, Coach and Manager as well as a Researcher in Academia and Industry. Dr Roca is a member of the British Psychological Psychology, Division of Occupational Psychology, EMONET-L, RedPrairie Consultants, Independent Consultants Support Group, Leaders-In, Independent Occupational Psychologists (IOPN) and Radical Innovation Research Group. Dr Roca has extensive Organisational and Government report publications, has presented several papers at conferences and is currently building a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary research portfolio.
