Biography

Status: Professor and Director of Organic Chemistry Laboratory in National Kapodistrian University of Athens
Research Interests:
(a) Study of Drug:Membrane Interactions using Biophysical Methodologies (DSC, Raman, X-ray Diffraction, Solid State NMR spectroscopy).
(b) Molecular Modeling (Docking, Molecular Dynamics, QSAR) to study interactions of drugs with the active sites and apply three dimension Quantitative Structure Activity Relationships.
(c) Apply high resolution NMR in liquids to study delivery systems (drugs engulfed in cyclodextrins and calixarenes).
