Biography

I am a marine ecologist with 25 years of experience on conducting R&D and advising national and international governments. Studying ecological changes resulting from climate change effects and human activities on marine ecosystems has been a key aspect. Human activities such as dredging, aggregate extraction, offshore windfarms and more recently oil and gas (and direct effects of decommissioning) cause distrubance to seabed communities. Cumulative effects assessments are also an area of my work
