Biography
Andrii Melnikov's research interests relate to sociological theory, existential paradigm, sociologies of war, culture and everyday life, and qualitative methods. He also studies religion and secular spirituality, ethnicities, migrations, and collective memory. He has presented papers at numerous conferences and has published over 100 academic papers, book chapters, and conference proceedings. The monograph Existential Sociology: Identifying the Paradigm (2022) summarizes 10 years of his main research project.
