Biography

I am a researcher who is interested in improving physical and mental health services, optimizing them and making them more patient-centered.

I have skills in intervention development, optimization and evaluation.

I have covered various topics including reducing chocolate cravings using mindfulness based techniques, calorie labelling of alcohol, communicating benign biopsy results in breast cancer screening, developing and evaluating interventions to reduce common respiratory tract infections in primary care and exploring a new way to discuss mental health with GPs in the UK.

My current research is using the Person-Based Approach to intervention planning to explore the views of people living with Multiple Long-Term Health Conditions and professionals working in health and social care about the use of and intervention based on clusters formed by artificial intelligence. The aim of the intervention is to encourage the consideration of social care need in primary care consultations.
