Personal information

Biography

I hold a PhD in Pulp and Paper Engineering and an MBA in Environment Management, with over 25 years of experience in both academic and industry research centers. My primary focus is on biomass chemistry and its applications, particularly lignin and carbohydrate chemistry, with an emphasis on environmental concerns and compliance.

I spent five years as a faculty member in Iran and five years as a researcher and postdoctoral fellow at North Carolina State University. Since 2015, I have been working in an industry research center, concentrating on the production of hydrogel from starch, filter paper, and PFAS-free molding products for food applications.
