Dr. Robert Redmon is a senior scientist with NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) where he serves as the Director for the NOAA Center for Artificial Intelligence (NCAI, noaa.gov/ai) and lead for the Space Weather Follow On (SWFO) Science Center. In 2020, he received a Department of Commerce Gold Medal and a NOAA Administrator’s Award. He is a graduate of the 2021 NOAA Leadership Competencies Development Program (LCDP) class XI “Transformers”.
