Biography
DSc in Chemistry from the the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 2023, whose presented thesis focused on the development of selective human furin inhibitors as broad-spectrum antivirals. Master in Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 2019, whose presented dissertation focused on the optimization of non-nucleoside inhibitors of HIV reverse transcriptase. Has experience in materials science, medicinal chemistry, organic synthesis, machine learning, software development and project management. Current research interests include studying how interactions at the interface of gold nanoclusters and biomolecules affect protein corona formation and electronic excitations. Is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Computational Nanoscience group at the University of Jyväskylä.
