Biography

Yuan-Cheng Cao is currently a professor of the State Key Laboratory
of Advanced Electromagnetic Engineering and Technology at
Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST, Wuhan). He
received his Ph.D. degree from HUST in 2006. Then he worked in
Nottingham Trent University (UK, 2007–2010), Newcastle University (UK,
2010–2014), Jianghan University (Wuhan, 2014–2018). His current research
interests include solid-state electrolytes in energy-storage batteries, safety
and extinguishing control for grid energy storage, eco-friendly recycling, and
regeneration of decommissioned batteries.
