Biography
Andrea Marchi received the MS degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Politecnico of Milan, Italy, in 2012. Since 2013, he is currently a PhD student at the Department of Electronics Information and Bioengineering, Politecnico of Milan, Italy. Since 2015 he has been IEEE-EMBC Student Member. He is currently with the Department of Emergency and Intensive Care, San Gerardo Hospital, Monza, Italy. His research is focused on the development of methods for time series analysis and signal processing, the assessment of autonomic nervous system function/dysfunction in both healthy and pathological subjects, the evaluation of cardiovascular and cardiorespiratory coupling, the analysis of muscle sympathetic nerve activity signal. He is author of more than 40 documents among conference contributes and papers published on peer-review international journals.
