Biography

Marcella Caprario is an Instructor at the English Language Centre at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She earned a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Northern Arizona University and conducted her dissertation research in Malaysia as a Fulbright Study/Research grantee. Her research interests include English as a lingua franca, intercultural pragmatics, L2 pragmatics instruction, corpus pragmatics, and language ideologies and attitudes.
