Biography
I received Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1994 with major in Applied Surface Science including petroleum engineering, and minors in molecular biology and biophysics. MY research was in the area of flotation, coagulation, flotation, surface ionization and complexation of metal oxides. After graduation I attended NSF Summer Schools on environmental science and engineering in real life applications. I spent 1994-1998 as a postdoc at Materials Department at the UC Santa Barbara. I was working on ceramic nanotechnology for replacing metal parts with ceramic for F22 jet fighter.
In 1995 I founded my current employer: Clean Water Technology Inc. We use novel nanobubbles enhanced water treatment technologies for industrial advanced wastewater treatment. I participate in R&D, pilot studies, full scale system design and troubleshooting. My experience includes coagulation, flocculation, flotation, nanobubbles research, bioreactor design, membrane fouling mitigation, adavanced oxidation technologies etc.. I serve as Chief Scientist at Clean Water Technologies Inc. in Gardena, California, United States. I was also involved in antioxidants research for preventive medicine. I published around 60 manuscripts, two chapters in books, organized three conferences and was session chair many times. I served as referee at seven journals.
