Biography

Dr. Gao is a Lecturer at the University of Western Australia. Prior to that, he was a tenured Research Scientist at Data61, CSIRO. Prior to that, he was an associate professor with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, at Nanjing University of Science and Technology. His current research interests are AI Security and Privacy, Hardware Security (i.e., Physical Unclonable Functions), and System Security. He received my M.Sc degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2013 and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Adelaide, Australia, in 2017.
