Biography

Dr. Yifei Zhang is an associate professor in the School of Microelectronics and a vice-director of the Center of Nanoelectronics at the Shandong University, China. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering at the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2006 and 2009, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Delaware, DE, US in 2016. His research activities focus on metamaterials and plasmonics, 3-D circuits, system-in-package (SiP) and antenna-in-package (AiP) integration, high-speed EO modulators, and their applications in the advanced wireless systems at terahertz and millimeter-wave frequencies. He has published more 40 journal and conference papers, received Best Invited Speaker Award in ICM-CN 2021, and was awarded the Future-Plan Young Scholar at the Shandong University 2019.
