Biography

Experienced as a university educator in training undergraduate and postgraduate students in veterinary public health and epidemiology; curriculum development and preparation of training manuals for the past thirteen years. Experience as a research scientist in veterinary public health and epidemiology of zoonotic diseases. Skills in writing, peer-reviewed scientific publications with 50 papers in peer reviewed journals. People management skills acquired during my term a Head of Department for 2 and half years. Experience as a member of a research collaborative network, involving regional and international partnerships. Some experience in financial management as Head of Department and also as country representative on collaborative projects.
