Biography

Jorge Silva received the PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (FEUP) in 1995, and he is currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering of FEUP (DEI). He is a member of the Department Council and of the Department Executive Committee of DEI, and of the Scientific Committee of the Master in Biomedical Engineering.
He was a researcher at the Institute for Biomedical Engineering (INEB) from 1989 to 2013, and is currently a researcher at INESC TEC – INESC Technology and Science, where he integrates the Center for Biomedical Engineering Research (C-BER).
