Biography
I am a literary scholar with a great passion for my subject and for the dissemination of knowledge. In my research and teaching, I appreciate looking at the larger contexts of literature and society, of the interplay of language, cognition and the world around us. My academic background is in German and Comparative literature (most recently as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oslo, EU project 794549, 2018–2021).
I have over 15 years of experience with academic writing and editing, in teaching at BA and MA level, in the development and implementation of research projects, and in organizing events in research and public outreach.
As a passionate interdisciplinary networker and someone who enjoys exploring both the seemingly small as well as the big questions around literature, I like to expand what we think of as shared knowledge. Last but not least, I aim to contribute with my work to give the humanities a place at the table when it comes to important contemporary discussions about culture, crises, and solutions.
