Biography

Postdoctoral researcher with a BSc in Biochemistry, MSc in Microbiology and Immunology, and a PhD in Biology. My expertise includes the application of modern and standardized microbiology techniques in the assessment and management of MDR infections, design, formulation, and evaluation of nano-liposomal delivery systems, temporal dynamics of microbial biofilms, pharmacodynamic modeling, assessment of synergy between actives (EC50, FICI), biocompatibility/ cytotoxicity, apoptosis and necrosis determinations, inflammation assessment, and legislative affairs. I`ve been working for the last 7 years with various nanostructured metallic, magnetic materials utilized in combination with biocompatible protein-based polymers for wound healing and antimicrobial applications. I participated in 10 + national or international RDI projects, as a PI, team leader, or member that led to 6 patent applications submitted to the Romanian State Office for Inventions and Trademarks.
