Biography

Andrey A. Galyaev graduated from Department of Radio Engineering and Cybernetics of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), Moscow, Russia, in 1996. He received Ph.D degree in mathematics in 2006 and Doctor of Engineering degree in 2014 from Ministry of Science of Russian Federation at Institute of Control Sciences (ICS), Moscow, Russia. He currently holds the positions as head of Laboratory "Control on incomplete data" of ICS and head of "Physical and mathematical methods of control" Division of Physical Department at Moscow State University (MSU).
Andrey Galyaev’s research activities concern the study of optimal control over dynamic, mechanical, quantum systems, control over observations, as well as differential game. A special research interest is focused on control of mobile vehicles in threat environments. As a professor of MSU and MIPT he teaches lecture courses of “Optimal control of dynamic systems”, “Theory of extremal problems” and “System analysis and data processing” for magistrate students.
Andrey Galyaev has published more than 100 papers in a wide variety of respectable scientific journals. He is a corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences since 2016. Also he works as an Editor-in-Chief of “Automation and Remote Control” journal and as deputy of Editor-in-Chief of “Doklady Mathematics” journal.
