Biography

Prof Ralph Mobbs is an Australian trained Neurosurgeon with an interest in Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery, Complex Spine Surgery, Research and the development of new techniques and prosthesis. He is a pioneer of minimally invasive techniques in Australia with numerous publications, and has designed & developed prosthesis that have been used/implanted in over 750,000 patients worldwide. His inventions and designs cover a range of surgical specialties including general, plastics, neuro and spinal surgery. He has been involved in the development of medical wearables for gait analysis, continuous glucose control and monitoring of patients post surgery. He has designed implants for Medtronic, Stryker, K2M, A-Spine, Medacta, Kasios Biomaterials, and many more.
