Biography

PEDRO HELENO ISOLANI (pedro.isolani@uantwerpen.be) achieved his BSc degree in information systems at the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC) - Brazil, in 2012. He also holds an MSc degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) - Brazil, in 2015, which focused on the management of software-defined networking. He is currently active as a PhD researcher, associated with imec and the University of Antwerp, Belgium. His current research interests include Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and programmability of wireless Medium Access Control (MAC) protocols.
