Biography
My research interests encompass many aspects of the evolution of the mode of fertilization from external to internal, integrative studies of synthesizing the aquatic or terrestrial ecology and the environmental physiology of amphibians (so-called "physiological ecology"), life-history strategies and tactics and population dynamics in amphibians, breeding ecology and behavioral ecology of hynobiid salamanders, and wetland ecology.
