Biography
Samia EL HADDOUTI received her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Cybersecurity from ENSIAS, Rabat, Morocco, in 2020. Since 2011, she serves as an IT project manager at the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research (CNRST) in Morocco, where she oversees a portfolio of middleware activities focused on developing e-infrastructure services for the scientific community. Her contributions extend beyond Morocco, as she was elected as the first female member of the Global eduroam Governance Committee (GeGC), representing the Africa region from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, since 2018, she is a steering group delegate on the eduGAIN Interfederation within GÉANT, the collaboration of European National Research and Education Networks. Samia is also a visiting professor at several higher education institutions. Her research interests include identity federation, trust management, privacy preservation, distributed consensus protocols, Blockchain, TinyML, and Federated Learning. She has proposed and validated models and approaches in Cybersecurity and Blockchain and holds multiple invention patents. She is a member of the TPC for various scientific conferences and acts as a reviewer for several scientific journals.
