Biography
Dr. Princy Pappachan is employed as an assistant professor at the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at Asia University, Taiwan. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from the Centre of Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies (CALTS) at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) and an M.Phil. in Cognitive Science from the Centre for Cognitive Science and Neuroscience (CNCS) at UoH. Her primary research focus areas include Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), cognitive science, Multilingual Education (MLE) in Sustainable Development Research, and English Language Teaching (ELT). In her academic career, she has actively participated in international academic forums. This includes delivering a keynote address at the Mandalika International Multi-Conference on Science and Engineering and serving as a moderator at the International Conference on EMI and AI at Asia University. She has also conducted talks on incorporating technology in education as part of the Teacher’s Professional Development Workshop at Asia University, Taiwan. In addition to her teaching and research, her technical skills encompass expertise in R programming, SmartPLS, intermediate proficiency in AVISPA (HLPSL Script), and foundational knowledge in Python. Her involvement in the academic community is further evidenced by her role on the Editorial Review Board of the International Journal of Teacher Education and Professional Development (IJTEPD) and other technology-related journals and her numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and books. She has also served on the International Advisory Committee for ICRAMLET22 and is an International Advisory Member of MIMSE2023.
