Biography

Luzilei Aliel is a Brazilian composer and academic. Graduated in music with an emphasis on musical education from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar, 2012), a master's degree in Creative Processes obtained at the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (2017), and a Ph.D. in Creative Processes obtained at the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo. The primary focus of his research is "comprovisation" (composition + improvisation) and its relationship with algorithmic composition, multimodal installations, ubiquitous music (ubimus), and soundscapes.
