Biography

Dr Feng Zhao is currently a Professor and PhD Supervisor in the School of Information Science and Technology at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Prior to joining USTC, he held research and academic positions in Liverpool John Moores University, University of Lincoln, Swansea University, and Ulster University in the United Kingdom, and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
He received the BEng degree in electronic engineering from USTC, Hefei, China, in 2000, and the MPhil and PhD degrees in computer vision from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2002 and 2006, respectively. His research interests include image processing, biomedical image analysis, computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
