Biography

Yang Xiao (S'20-M'24) received the B.E. (Hons.) and Ph.D. (Hons.) degrees in information and communication engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) in 2019 and 2024, respectively. He is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar with the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science, University of Waterloo. He is a recipient of the National Scholarship for Doctoral Students in China. His research interests include network traffic engineering, wireless resource management, and deep reinforcement learning. He has authored over ten papers in high-quality IEEE journals and conferences including IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE ICC, IEEE GLOBECOM, and IEEE WCNC.
