Biography

IEEE Senior member.

Member of the National Committee for Sustainability and Governance. Coordinator of Sustainability committee of Port Said University. Executive manager of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Sustainability at faculty of Engineering, Port Said University. A sustainable development goals SDGs trainer. She is a professional member in the International Council for Small Business ICSB. She is an ambassador of IEEE Region 8 Entrepreneurship Initiative. She is one of Scival, Elsevier champions in Port Said University.

An associate professor of electrical communications and electronics engineering in the faculty of engineering, Port-Said University. She has been teaching electromagnetics, microwave engineering, antennas theory and applications, electromagnetic wave propagation, Signal processing, Numerical Electromagnetics and digital communication systems for about twelve years. She is also teaching Thinking skills development depending on the Sustainable Development Goals SDGs.

Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence AI applications in wireless channel modelling, antenna design and analysis, intelligent transportation, and medical systems. She has several research papers in peer reviewed international journals with ISI impact factor and has participated in some national and international conferences. Working as a supervisor for many MSc and PhD students.

Trained in the University of Alabama at Birmingham UAB Sustainable Smart Cities Research Centre SSCRC on Smart Systems for Smart Cities and on designing Smart Poles. Trained also in the Electrical Engineering Department on Connected Vehicles Cloud Computing. Online Continuous Education with the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Smart cities management.
Enrolled in the specialization “AI in Healthcare” presented by Stanford Medical school. Completion of the two courses: Introduction to Healthcare, Introduction to Clinical Data. And enrolment in the three courses: Fundamentals of Machine Learning for Healthcare, AI in Healthcare Capstone and Evaluation of AI in Healthcare Applications.

She has also a special interest in the methodologies, quality, and accreditation standards of the electrical engineering education. She is working in quality assurance and accreditation of Faculty of Engineering, Port Said University since 2009. She has working experience according to the Pearson higher education standards to the TVET students in AAST.
