Biography

Dr. Omar Rodriguez-Uicab is a Professor of the "Metropolitan Tecnological University" (UTM for its Spanish acronym), located in Merida, Mexico. He is a Mechanical Engineer wit a Master and PhD in Polymeric Materials. He received his PhD in Polymeric Materials from "Scientific Research Center of Yucatan (CICY for its Spanish acronym) working on the piezoresistivity response of thermoplastic composites, and worked as a Research Associate at The Catholic University of America. He returned to Mexico in 2022. His current research interest focus on the thermoresistivity and piesoresistivity response of nanoestructured thermosetting composites and carbon nanostructures materials.
