Researcher on international politics and armed conflicts, with expertise con Latin America, Middle East and US foreign policy. Former director of the Peace Research Center (CIP) (Madrid), ex co director of think-tank FRIDE (Madrid), ex Program Officer on Peace and Security at the Ford Foundation (NYC). Director of the Norwegian Centre on Conflict Resolution (NOREF) (Oslo) 2009-2017. Advisor of the UN Office of the Resident Coordinator (2017-2019) (Bogotá). Currently Coordinator of the Latin American Network on Inclusive Security of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and Associate Fellow Chatham House. Contributor to international media.
