Biography

Abdulhamit Tayfur, sports physiotherapist, received his BSc degree in 2013 and MSc degree in 2016 from Hacettepe University in Turkey. Then, he joined the tendon research group of Sports and Exercise Medicine Department at Queen Mary University of London for his PhD studies in 2017, and completed it in 2022. After his PhD, he started to work for Kırşehir Ahi Evran University as Assistant Professor. He is currently studying on outcome predictors for recovery of patellar tendinopathy in jumping athletes. He is interested in ankle and knee injuries, tendon biomechanics, jump-landing mechanism, prevention, exercise, orthopaedic rehabilitation, and link between workload and recovery.
