Biography

Dr. Hanyao Zhang is a researcher and professor at the Southwest Forestry University, China. He studied biology and completed his Ph.D. at the South China University of Tropic Agriculture, in 2006. 2009-2010, he worked at the University of Auckland as a post-doctor, and in 2016-2017 he had been to the University of Leicester as an honor researcher. In his scientific career, he worked on various research topics which are documented in more than 40 publications in journals, books, and seven patents. Now, he is a leading researcher for the projects of the Agricultural Joint key projects in Yunnan Province (202301BD070001-003), Yunnan Academician (expert) Workstation Project (202305AF150020), and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. 31760450).
