Biography

Catalin Lazar is a researcher at the University of Bucharest, and the Main Coordinator of the ArchaeoScience#RO Platform at​ Research Institute of the University of Bucharest (ICUB). His research interests include excavation of Neolithic and Eneolithic sites, funerary behaviours, paleodemography and mortuary practices in South-Eastern Europe. He also works in bio-cultural identities, past population dynamics, experimental archaeology and human-landscape interaction. He has written many articles and is involved in several research projects.
