Biography

Graduated in Biotechnology and Bioprocesses Engineering at Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG, 2016). Master (2019) and Ph.D (2023) in Chemical Engineering at Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). He performed a research stay at the Institute of Catalysis and Petrochemistry (ICP/CSIC, Madrid/Spain, 2021-2022). He works as professor at the Federal University of Itajubá (UNIFEI) and develops research in the field of Biochemical Engineering, with emphasis on immobilization, stabilization and application of enzymes, for the production of biodiesel, biolubricants and biosurfactants/emulsifiers. He also has experience in the areas of enzyme production (chitinase and chitosanase) from filamentous fungus by submerged fermentation, the production of bioethanol via co-cultivation of fungi, and purification of biomolecules.
