Biography

Professor Mercedes Pardo-Buendía teaches and researches at University Carlos III of Madrid (Spain). She has a bachelor degree on Sociology and Political Science, a Master on Environmental Management and Development, and a Phd in Sociology. She is specialized in sociology of the environment. He has researched on natural parks, climate change, energy, waste, environmental and social impact assessment, cities. She has been a visiting scholar at University of California, at Berkeley; University of Bremen; University of Lisbon.
