Biography

Researcher in the field of Structure and Function of Enzymes. Undergraduated in Biotechnology; Master in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; and PhD in Biomolecular Physics. Had worked in vegetal and animal genetics improvement by using molecular markers. Today, acts in the areas of DNA sequencing; cloning; heterologous protein expression in bacteria, yeast and fungi; protein purification; gene expression analysis by qRT-PCR; enzymatic characterization; structure (SAXS and X-ray crystallography) and function studies of enzymes that are applied in the plant cell wall depolymerization for green products production.
