My background includes serving more than seven years as a Senior Lecturer at the Soil Science and Irrigation Department in the Agriculture Faculty of Kabul University, Natural Resources Management Specialist at the Deputy Ministry of Irrigation and Natural Resources in Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL), and as Environmental Management Officer On-Farm Water Management Project (OFWMP) in MAIL. In addition to the above experiences, I have conducted several scientific research on issues including determining and mapping soil erodibility factor of Paghman Watershed, soil erosion and runoff assessment in deferent land covers under natural rainfall conditions, rain-water harvesting in the watershed, crop water requirement assessment. Also, I have developed technical manuals including drip irrigation design manual, soil sampling, and testing manual, and soil and water conservation manual. I have B.Sc. in Agronomy from the Agriculture Faculty of Kabul University and graduated M.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering from the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Szent Istvan University of Hungary. Further, I have the knowledge and theory acquired during my studies in a true work environment and obtained greater experience through practices with the aspect of national and international. I have more than 10 scientific publications in national and international scientific journals and scientific conferences, organizing skills in international society, team management skills, public speaking skills, computers software skills, ArcGIS, and remote-sensing skills. Also, I can handle the assigned task independently.
