Biography

Dr. Hassan Hariri is currently a Postdoc Fellow at Temasek Laboratories and Robotics Innovations Laboratory at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) since 2014. He works on the research project STARS (Systems Technology for Autonomous Reconnaissance and Surveillance). He obtained his PhD in 2012 from University Paris-Sud, France, where he designed and realized piezoelectric mobiles for cooperative use (piezoelectric mini-robots). Before joining SUTD, he awarded a postdoctoral research fellowship in 2012 from Université de Sherbrooke (Canada) to work on the validation of a tire sensor used to provide the reference signal for a feedforward control algorithm for the minimization of the vibration transmission through a car suspension.
