Biography

I hold a bachelor degree in Biological Sciences, a Master and a PhD degrees in Cell Biology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) in Brazil. I worked as an undergraduate student in the Laboratory of Immunology and Genomic Parasites in projects regarding the genome of Trypanosoma cruzi. During my Masters and PhD, I worked in the Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Biology in projects regarding the Trypanosoma cruzi biology and in the Protein Research Group at Syddansk Universitet in projects regarding T. cruzi's proteomics, nanoparticles and exosomes. I have experience in Parasitology, with emphasis in Immunoparasitology, Molecular Biology and Genomics of parasites, as well as in Cell Biology, with emphasis in parasite-host cell interactions and in Proteomic analysis.
