Born in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. I obtained my PhD (Architecture) from Waseda University in October 2014.
I then worked as a visiting researcher at the School of Architecture and Urban Studies, University of Adelaide, Australia, and engaged in industry-academia-government collaboration projects as a research institute researcher at the University of Fukui's Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration Division. And I was engaged in the COC+ (Centre of Knowledge University to Promote Regional Development) project as a lecturer at Mie University's Regional Human Resource Education and Development Organisation.
