Biography

Tuba Uğraş graduated from Boğaziçi University, Physics Department in 2000. She obtained her Master's degree from Istanbul University, Informatics Program in 2012, with the thesis titled "A Descriptive Analysis on New Media Usage Habits of Digital Natives in the Context of Information Society in Turkey". She completed her doctorate education in 2018 with the thesis titled “Pre-Production Phase in Digital Game Design with Children: Participatory Design Approach” in Istanbul University, Informatics Program. Since 2001, she has been working as a Research Assistant at Yıldız Technical University, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies. Her research interests include Human-Computer Interaction, Child-Computer Interaction, Participatory Design, Game Design, Educational Technologies, and Unplugged Computer Science.
