Biography

I am an integrated member of the Interactive Technologies Institute/LARSyS and a research collaborator at the Research Center in Sports Sciences, Health Sciences, and Human Development (CIDESD). Currently, I am working as a Postdoctoral Researcher under the eGames Lab Project (Portuguese Recovery and Resilience Program (PRR), IAPMEI/ANI/FCT under the Agenda C645022399-00000057) and as an Invited Assistant Professor at the University of Madeira. I completed my Ph.D. in Sports Sciences in 2022 in the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Physical Education of the University of Coimbra and my MSc in Physical Education Teaching in 2015 at the University of Madeira. I have worked with a research scholarship in the Marítimo Training Lab Project (MTL) and the See_App Project: Monitoring Health in Schools.
My research interests are mainly related to sports performance, physical activity, and technology, particularly in youth. I have published several articles in well-respected peer-reviewed journals and presented my work at international Congresses.
