Biography
My research agenda encompasses the broad and holistic study of job quality across various dimensions, with a special focus on workplace aggression, as well as the application and development of quantitative methods, particularly in the context of large-scale cross-cultural surveys and the development and validation of (ultra-)short scales.
I received my Diploma in sociology from the University of Trier, Germany, in 2011 and my Ph.D. in psychology (awarded with the distinction “excellent”) from the University of Luxembourg in 2018. Prior to joining the University of Luxembourg in 2014, I was a research associate at the University of Trier (Institute of Sociology, Chair of Empirical Social Research, as well as Work and Organizational Sociology). Since 2019, I am a research scientist at the University of Luxembourg.
My research was published in international journals such as International Journal of Stress, Management, Assessment, Social Science Computer Review, and the Journal of Affective Disorders Reports. I am an associate editor of Current Psychology, an assistant editor of Emerging Adulthood and an editorial board member of the Journal of Workplace Behavioral Health. I also regularly serve as a peer reviewer for more than 40 international journals and funding agencies.
