Biography

Matthew Ritchie received the M.Sc. degree in physics from the University of Nottingham in 2008 and the D.Eng. degree from University College London (UCL), U.K., in association with Thales U.K., in 2013. Following the Eng.D, he worked as a Research Associate at UCL from 2013 to 2017 on multistatic radar sensors and micro-Doppler. He then took a role as the Radar Sensing Team at Dstl, U.K. He is currently a Associate Professor within the UCL Radar Group, focusing on the use of multi-static radar for applications, such as human micro-Doppler, micro-drones, sea clutter, and maritime target analysis.
