Biography

I have received my B.Sc degree from St. Xavier's college, Ahmedabad (1995), M.Sc (2000) and doctoral degree from the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, Gujarat, India in 2012. I have worked at Department of chemistry, St.Xavier's college from 2007 to 2015. Currently, I am working as Assistant professor at Department of Chemistry, School of Sciences, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and involved in research and teaching activities. I have 13 years teaching experience. My research interest includes development of fluorescent polymers, high thermally stable polymers, flame retardant polymers, biodegradable polymers, nanoparticles & composites, green chemistry, and drug design. . Two M.Phil and two Ph.D students are awrded degree under my guidence. Currently one M.Phil and two Ph.D students are pursuing thier degree. I have more than seventeen national and international research publications and published two books. I have presented more than 150 research papers in state, nantional and international conference, delivered more than 10 invited talks, attented more than 25 workshop/seminar etc. and organised 05 work shop/seminar conference. I have completed two projects funded by UGC, Delhi and GUJCOST, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Our research group has filed six patents in the field of nanocomposites.
