Biography

Melpomeni Nikou is a PhD candidate at the Department of Meteorology and Climatology, School of Geology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) with the subject is “Analysis of wheat yield responses to historical and future climate using process-based and statistical crop models”, while she considers herself to be a VIA researcher (Vulnerability, Impact and Adaptation) through PhD research. She holds a 5-year Diploma in Rural and Surveying Engineering (R&SE) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) with emphasis in Hydraulics and a MSc in "Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development" from the Department of Civil Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.).
