Biography
I hold a PhD from University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, with a focus on food security among university students. Following my graduation, my research has expanded to address food security among households and individuals. This work aligns closely with the Saudi Vision 2030, as it aims to ensure sustainable and equitable access to food for all. My research endeavors are driven by a commitment to contribute to the global goal of eradicating hunger and improving nutrition, thereby fostering healthier and more resilient communities. Currently, I am exploring the dietary quality, and household food security status of students and vulnerable populations in Saudi Arabia in order to plan effective interventions that aim to improve the nutritional health of the population in the country. Also, my research focuses on community nutrition and the relationship between diet and health, aiming to improve diets to lower the risk of diseases.
