Biography

I am an Environmental Scientist with the CA Department of Water Resources, in the Collaboration, Science and Innovation unit. My research centers around genetic environmental monitoring project related to the State water project. I earned my Ph.D. in Ecology at the University of California at Davis in 2021, co-advised by Drs. Richard Connon and Sharon Lawler. I earned my B.S. in Evolution and Ecology from the University of California at Davis, with a minor in Latin and Medieval studies. Before returning to graduate school, I worked at the California Animal Health and Food Safety (CAHFS) laboratory at Davis.
