Biography

Prof. Ilona Jacyna-Gołda, Ph. D., D. Sc, Eng. has over 15 years of experience as a researcher. She works at the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology and is a director of the Institute of Production Systems Organization. Scientific interests focus on modelling and designing effective transport and logistics networks and systems for servicing manufacturing enterprises, as well as methods and tools supporting transport planning and organization using heuristic algorithms based on evolutionary algorithms. An achievement in this area is the design and development of an original engineering methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the supply network.
The scientific activity is characterized by combining theory and practice. She has participated in many national research and development projects and for industry. She is the author or co-author of many publications. She has received many awards from the Rector of Warsaw University of Technology for scientific and didactic achievements. She carried out scientific and industrial-scientific internships in the country and abroad.
