Biography

Mengfen Shen is an associate professor in the area of Geotechnical Engineering in the College of Civil Engineering & Architecture at Zhejiang University of Technology, Hangzhou, China. She got her B.S. degree in Prospecting Techniques & Engineering and master degree in Geological Engineering at Hefei University of Technology in China, then earned her PhD degree in Civil Engineering at Clemson University, United States. Her research focuses on the Soil Liquefaction, Reliability Analysis, Spatial Variability, Geostatistics, Site Investigation, and Unsaturated Soil Mechanics.
